A man fond of drinking had a dream. He dreamt that some good wine was offered to him and he began to warm it ready to drink. But at this juncture, he suddenly woke up and said to himself with regret, "I should have drunk the wine without warming it."

i got some responds regarding this joke. some didn't understand it.
in the joke, the man regrets that he didn't get the chance to drink the wine in his dream. it's just a dream. you can't control it.
but what makes me smile here is, i also had this kind of situation before. I really want to do something in my dream, but i didn't have the chance to do it. when i woke up, i regret that. and when i give it a second thought, its really funny. its just a dream anyway. but the regret i feel...
and i bet i'm not the only one who faced this kind of situation (",)y
